I am a first-generation student from a small desert town known as the Coachella Valley. I am beyond grateful to have found CCM and the courage to join it this past Fall. I have been able to find a welcoming community with other Chicanx/Latinx students who motivate me, inspire me, and relate to the struggles I may experience. This org has also allowed me to deepen my perspective on medicine and health overall, through different opportunities and guest speakers.
